What are the medical issues facing those who live and/or work in downtown Los Angeles today? For downtown residents and employees, what do you do when it comes to taking care of your health and well being if you are insured? Uninsured? Underinsured? Where do you go for preventative care or alternative health care? Do you have a favorite acupuncturist, gym or dentist in your office building? What happens when there is a worker's comp claim or emergency? What about food?Join us in our discussion on Wednesday, October 28 from 6-8PM when we explore health and health care in downtown Los Angeles.
The discussion will be kicked off by Carl Coan, president and chief executive of Eisner Pediatric & Family Medical Center and Art San, "The Pain Eraser", of the Pain and Wellness Center of LA.

Founded in 1920, Eisner Pediatric & Family Medical Center - on the southern end of downtown Los Angeles- is a quality-focused, non-profit community health center dedicated to improving the physical, social and emotional well-being of people in the communities they serve, regardless of income and for people of all ages.In addition to general family medicine, the Center also offers targeted services that related to chronic health problems of poverty including prenatal care, lead and anemia screening, diabetes management, dental services, and mental health care.
